Beloved, 

Before the month ends I want to remind you of how much you're loved and appreciated. Let me rewind; it's been a while. Too long if I'm being honest but I promise it's perfect timing. While I can use this time to fill you in on how I've been, I'll save it for another time. This is about you! This is about how much I cherish your friendship/kinship. This is about how grateful I am to call you family [framily]. This is about how even the smallest acts of love and compassion can be significantly powerful. What you may not know is, that one time you hugged me so tight, helped me through this past year. That joke we laughed so hard at long ago, reminded me that's it's okay to laugh again. That time we danced the day and night away or belted that song in unison, reassured me that music is certainly one of my love languages. The meals we shared together, refueled me in more ways than one. Our conversations and things I've learned from you, priceless. Many of my days have been spent in silence but the memories and stories I have with you were/are loud and impactful. They played a role in me finding my way back to myself. Thank you! Honestly, I am grateful. I'm also proud--- of you. 

I want to know how life is flowing for you but I wanted to give you your flowers first. Those times you think of me in my absence; I feel you. That time you randomly checked on me, wasn't random at all. The day I met you was one of the best times of our lives; even if we didn't know it then. Your laugh and smile redirects energy in the best way possible. I'm blessed to have you fam.

I put together a playlist for us. Ain't no new songs on here so chill and yes, it's long AF.  Play it forward or on shuffle while riding or cleaning. The real purpose of the playlist to get your memories flowing. Where were you when you first heard this song? What was life like? Who were you with? How does it make you feel? Does it give you the same feelings?

"Never look back." is one of the most common things to say. Take it face value only. Reflecting, is life changing. Trust me.
